Landscaping

No, not garden landscaping, but Evelyn Clark's Landscape scarf. I love this pattern; I've made it a dozen times with all kinds of yarn and all sorts of variations. This time it's Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock lightweight in a color called Gypsum, US6 needles. My variation on the pattern is to use only garter and stockinette for the sections.

Well, it has the colors of a springtime garden landscape! Really pretty.

I really like your shawl, but don't remember that pattern so will have to look it up. I'm looking for a good pattern for gifts and this looks a strong possibility. Also enjoying all your doilies. I like the variegated and just started my first knit doily with a pink and white variegated. I'm going to go take another look at your work for inspiration.

I've been struggling with my first Landscape shawl, ripping more than knitting. I took your suggestion of only 2 stitch patterns, garter and stockinette. The shawl is now moving along quite nicely. Thanks for all the Landscape pics.
