How Do You Say "Gorgeous" in Polish?

My friend Dagmara, who lives in Poland, is brilliant, beautiful and very generous. She sent me this wonderful book of Polish needlework. I d0n't need to know a word of Polish to appreciate the beautiful embroidery, crochet, lacework and other needlework in this book. I could, and will, spend hours admiring the beautiful work. If her goal is to persuade me to visit Poland, she's doing a good job of it.

Yes, the book looks like great eye candy, but I was certain that the "Gorgeous" you were talking about was your friend!

It may be just as well you don't read Polish - this way you can enjoy the book without feeling like you *have* to make any of the items ...

Well, I looked up "gorgeous" in my Polish-English dictionary. The Polish word is "wspanialy."
I got the chance to look at the book for a short time, and it is absolutely wspanialy.
Thank you for sharing.
