Last year at the Western Washington Fair I met Elaine and Randy of
Blackberry Patch Farms and some of their sheep. I didn't know this place was so close to home! Later in the fall, I purchased some of Elaine's hand-spun yarn, which became this very warm scarf.
- Pattern: Triple Cable Scarf from "One Skein" by Leigh Radford, except that I used the Double Cable Scarf format and the Triple Cable Scarf width.
- Yarn: Blackberry Patch wool, approximately 400 yards.
- Needles: Size 4.25mm.
- Finished size: 7 inches wide x 76 inches long
I have now made two of the cable scarves from this book. I love this book. I love this scarf. So adaptable. So elegant.
